Schubert lived in a particular stage from late 18th to early 19th century . His work not only is a creation of a romantic style, but also is an inheritance of the classical style. The Piano Music had entered into a peak stage during the Romantic period. Compared with the Classical period, it is characterized by its prominent features: works focus on the expression of subjective feelings, and composer's own feelings could be expressed exquisitly. A new kind of style which is smart and small appeared at that time. Early 19th century, in Europe, composers prefer this genre of piano essay. As a pioneer of Romantic piano music, Schubert creating a precedent of piano essay. He The piano essays that he first composed appeared the description of individual inner world, especially the piano Impromptus, charactered by outstanding features: lyricism, arbitrariness and singing, having a far-reaching implications for the future creation of Romantic music and a crucial positions during the development of the piano music.The main research object is Schubert's piano Impromptus works D946. This chapter combines European political, economic and cultural changes during the late 18th to early 19th century , and analyzes the background and necessity of the formation of the romantic style, and briefly discussed Schubert's romantic music style.Chapter 3, Schubert Impromptus D946. This chapter, on the basis of introducing Impromptus's Rise and Development, discusses Schubert Impromptus's contribution on piano music ; After introducing piano Impromptus D946's creative background briefly, analyzed these 3 works from musical form and playing aspects, including musical structure, harmony use, theme, rhythm and feelings processing and skills use etc,and understand Schubert's thinking and creative characteristics more subtle.Conclusion.
