Franz Schubert' s piano sketch is called "the beginning of romanticism". His piano works are known as one of the important literature for professional learning of pinao. Extracting three piano works from Franz Schubert' s representative impromptu as the objects, the author briefly introduces the motive and background of the composer's creation. In this disertation, the author mainly analyzes and discusses his playing techniques, so as to deepen the understanding of the connotation about his musical works.This dissertation consists of six parts. The first part is the introduction about Franz Schubert' s life. The second part is about the style and the characters of his works. The third part discusses the background and important role of impromptu. The fourth part is the main part of this dissertation, which gives further explanation on the performance of the three impromptu and puts forward the author's personal experience and opinion, which will help the player find the way to understand Franz Schubert' s works. The fifth part is the analysis and contrast of different performance by three pianists in the twentith century. The sixth part is the epilogue, which summarizes the author's own opinion about how to appreciate and perform Franz Schubert' s works by personal playing experience and the contrast of different performance by three pianists in the twentith century.
