With the development of the late18th Century to19th Century westernromanticism, a new development of piano music also came into existence. Austriacomposer Franz Schubert (Franz Schubert,1797-1828) as one of the representativesfrom the classical period to the romantic period, their music works contain obviouscharacteristics of the two eras but above both. Especially his piano works take onoutstanding performance in the romantic style, had great influence on the followingromantic musicians.Take Schubert’s Piano Concerto in C major ’wanderer fantasy’ for an example.This essay is based on his background, the summing up of composing style to analyzethe features of Schubert’s composing of this style. With modern eyes for this greatcomposer’s works and own performance experience, combining playing skills withunderstanding of melody soul so helps profoundly understand his piano art.
