Study On Wang Seng-ru

This thesis is a monograph on Wang Seng-ru, who was a poet, writer and scholar in the southern dynasty. It mainly includes the preface, the main part and the appendix as follows: The preface gives a brief introduction to the studying idea, purpose, and chapter designing of this thesis etc.The main part includes four chapters. The first one gives an investigation and study on Wang Seng-ru's ideology and his life, and the following two chapters focus on his poetry, discussing the themes and styles respectively. By theme, Wang Seng-ru's poetry can be classified into such three categories as expressing, presenting and women. On style, Qingxinliyi can be the brightest character of his poetry. Besides, classic elegance and vast artistic conception are the other two points which should be paid special attention to. The last chapter is mainly focused on Wang Seng-ru's proses, in which his letters and preliminary remarks to others'books are two emphases receiving great attention.The appendix includes chronicle of Wang Seng-ru's life and emendation on Wang Seng-ru's writings.
