This essay dealde with Wang Wan's poetry , reviewed the feature and tendency of Wang's theory of poetry, also analyzed the relationship between his theory and the main theory in early Qing Dynasty. Here, the author had a deep study on Wang's representative poetries, in order to point out the great achievement that Wang had reached and the important role Wang's poetry had played.This essay consisted of two parts: body , conclusions. The body can be divided into two parts. Each part had a preclude. There were four chapters in the former part. The first chapter talked about the relationship between Wang Wan and the popularity of Song's poetry in early Qing period. Chapter two was about the return of theory gentilesse", and Wang Wan's traditional idea to poetry in early Qing Dynasty .Chapter three talked about the reflection to the separation of history and poetry, that was whether the poetry should reflect the history or not. Also this chapter discussed the reflection to canonize Du Fu's poetry.Chapter four talked about the style of Wang Wan's poetry, which mingled theory in Wu Zhong and the theory of Shen Yun raised by Wang Shizhen, another famous poet.In the latter part, there were three chapters. Chapter one mainly talked about the differences between the characteristic of Wang Wan's mini-immotal poetries, and the traditional poetry of mini-immotal The second chapter was about the artistic character and the regionally feature of Wang Wan's endemic poetry from three kinds of poetry. In the last chapter, the author compared with poetry of other poet in the same county or the same period, aimed at researching the poetries those were written when traveling Dong Ting which stood for the greatest achievement that Wang's had reached.
