Shaolin Temple is the development of Buddhism in China since the new period is a new phenomenon, its development model is summarized as "Shaolin model," Shaolin Temple was introduced to the model or even around the country, Kunming Guandu Shaolin Temple is one example, people have different views on this model, generally believed that the development of Shaolin Temple to market, and its sacred religious property secularized gradually decline, and its religious sanctity is reduced. That the development of Buddhism brought to an opportunity or a challenge to be the test of time. There are arguments that it is worthy of recognition, is consistent with Buddhism in China Construction Rules. In fact, before the Shaolin Temple, the human development of Chinese Buddhism of Master has been developing, and in the Taiwan Strait, Master Xing Yun of For Fo Guang Shan construction has reached a "unity of sacred and secular." Thus, this use of sacred and secular theories of religion visit the Shaolin Temple development model, combined with the Shaolin Temple in Kunming Guandu case study of "Shaolin mode" to make a unbiased research. This paper argues that "the Shaolin pattern" is a sacred space, secularism, secular religion and society can be understood as an interaction between the reflected religion in modern society, a development trend, some religion in the new period performance can be seen as the face of secularization of a religious self-adjustment. Secularization as a thought, the sacred religion will inevitably impact does not mean that religion will die out, of course, this adjustment is not recklessly adaptation, must be to maintain and control, that is, how to solve the coordination sacred and secular, into the secular without being as similated secular.
