How To Improve Students' Oral English By Communicative Language Teaching

It is widely accepted that language is vocal because the primary medium for all language is sound. Spoken language plays an important role in our daily life, and it is through spoken language that people communicate with each other and exchange their ideas and feelings. The English Language teaching aims to improve students'communicative competence.The author manages to link the advanced linguistic theories with English language teaching practice, aiming at motivating students to learn English efficiently and developing students'language skills by Communicative Language Teaching.The thesis is mainly on how to improve students'oral English by Communicative Language Teaching .The thesis is made up of three chapters : Current Situation of Chinese Students' Oral English in Middle Schools, the main concepts of CLT and the components of communicative competence, the rational and advantages of teaching oral English by CLT, and the implementation of CLT in oral English teaching practice.
