The Research On Relationship Among Self-disclosure,parenting Style And Mental Health Of Higher Vocational College Students

Using Jourard Self-disclosure Questionnaire(JSDQ),Egma Minnen av Bardndosnauppforstran(EMBU) and Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90),600 three-year higher vocational College Students from 3 Sichuan Vocational College were investigated.It inspected presentSelf-disclosure,parenting style and mental health of higher vocational College Students,analyzed the relationship among them.In order to explore a clearer factor which impact the mental health of vocational college students.Enriching the content of school psychological theory and developing the theory of higher vocational education.Giving some guidance of how to carry out the mental health education in higher vocational college.The conclusions showed:1.The self-disclosure scores of vocational college students are lower than middle level.The degree of self-disclosure from high to low are interest - Learning - Attitude - Personality - Money - Body; To different target of people ranked as Homosexual friend - Mother - Heterosexual friend - Father;There were significant differences in gender and birthplace at some self-disclosure factors of higher vocational college students(P <0.05) but no significant differences in major and single-child or non single-child(P >0.05).2.There were significant difference between urban and rural vocational students in the parenting style which the father refused and deny (FF5), the mother refused and deny (MF3),mother punished severely (MF4)(P <0.05) but no significant differences in sex,major,single-child or non single-child(P >0.05);3.The vocational college students mental health status are significant different with the National Youth norm(P <0.001) expecting the interpersonal sensitivity factor.Vocational college students scored higher than the national youth norm; There were significant differences in gender and grade in some mental health dimension of higher vocational college students(P <0.05); The difference between lower and higher mental health level showed that the degree of self-disclosure and mental health into the inverted "U"-shaped curve;There weren't significant differences in major,urban or rural,single-child or non single-child(P >0.05);4.It was significantly related among self-disclosure, parenting style and mental health of vocational college students. parenting style influence the self-disclosure and mental health of vocational college students.Father punishment and severe(FF2),Mother punishment and severe(MF4) influence the self-disclosure by 12.6%;Mother punishment and severe(MF4) and mother emotional warmth (MF1),Father refused and deny(FF5),Mother over protection (MF2),Father love(FF1),Father interference(FF3) which totally predictors of mental health to 53.7%.The self-disclosure predict the mental health in some degree.The disclosure on study or work most effect the mental health,the self-disclosure in study and to the homosexual friend predict the mental health by 9.3%;The self-disclosure and Parenting Style of higher vocational college students totally predictors of mental health to 54.3%.
