In recent years, the problems that caused by students'mental health have become prominent, for example, because of the unemployment pressure, the higher tuition fees, emotional frustrations and so on, some students had different degree of mental barrier, which not only seriously affect the students study and physical and mental development,it also has a direct impact on their families and social stability. While music not only have education functions and aesthetic functional, also have emotional functions. This article begins with raising the mental health level of Vocational school'students, the writer analyses the importance and methods of music education for pupils' mental health promotion, and thorough these study, offered to promote the common institutions of higher education reform of the music, to improve the professorship students healthy doctrine. I choose a regular class as the subject, the music teacher began a period of three months of music teaching, and then I made a cross analysis in order to study the effects of music education in students'mental health.
