The Same Strain

It seems that there is no relation between the Pictorial Stones (brick) of Han Dynasty and the Chinese Literati Paintings , but in the matter of fact the two are very closely linked to each other. This article will make an effort to find out the similarities of the plastic arts, the history and the ideology between them, and then to analyze the essential characteristics and basic requirements of the Chinese paintings.The paintings of Han Dynasty inherited the paintings of Spring and Autumn period and Qin Dynasty, and inspired the creations of Three Kingdoms ,Wei, Jin ,Northern and Southern Dynasties, while the Chinese Literati Paintings began in the Tang and Song period, and developed in Yuan and changed in Ming and Qing Dynasty. The two, can be said to be the most representative traditional Chinese paintings in history .In this article I will try to find the way of the development of Chinese art through the analysis of the two forms mentioned above.
