| The Yan'an Period is an important time in modern Chinese history. A scholar said,"Talented people were found in May 4th Movement of 1919. And people were converted in Yan'an Peirod."Since the settlement of the Central committee of CPC in the north of Shanxi province, different kinds of schools were founded and developed quickly. Therefore, many youths were attracted. These schools were special in special time. Both students'living conditions and life styles are quite multiple. It has the characteristics of the times. Little research has been found in this aspect. On the basis of some relevant papers and memoirs, the thesis starts from the students'diet, accommodation, clothing, consumption, study, entertainment, etc. and reveals the real style of the students'daily life. The main research of the thesis are how students expanded their colorful spiritual life in a time that their material life is poor, how they participated border area construction actively and how they changed their life view and word view. It can give some revelation to a further formation of historical awareness and historical analysis.
