On The Consistency Between Morality And Happiness

It is an issue to assign happiness in accordance with moral. People look forward to the unity of morality and happiness, but reality, there are many non-uniform phenomena. The original moral beliefs kept in people's mind are collapsed by the strong effect of market economy and the pursuit of economic interests. Also they just pursuit the personal pleasure, and take sensory pleasure as happiness. This non-uniform performance between morality and happiness appears in the field of people's thinking and living. And it's also affected by the social system, distribution system, economic and education. Faced the "modern confusion", it's very important to call morality. We must emphasize the pursuit of happiness should be consistent with ethical principles to improve the crisis of faith of modern humans. To promote the reality of unity of morality and happiness, it is very necessary both from personality and social aspect. First aspect, we should enhance the personal moral qualities, train moral emotion, strength moral beliefs and join in moral practice. From second aspect, it is very necessary to strength social system reform, improve the market economy system, establish the mechanism of moral return, attach importance to education and moral beliefs, and take public opinion functions. From these measures, it can improve the social system and optimize the moral environment to promote the combination of morality and happiness.Modern society is a pluralistic coexistence, with the improving of economic and the expansion of material life, people are increasingly concerned about the realistic situation and ignore the morality. The unrealistic view between morality and happiness can no longer be recognized. Therefore, the study of the practical consistency of morality and happiness is very important.
