"Qin Yuan Yao Lu"(《琴苑要录》) is an important document from the Qin repertory which is a Ming dynasty copy according to the collection of the Qin related articles handed down from Song dynasty. And some of the important Qin making materials are also preserved among them."Bi Luo Zi Zhuo Qin Fa"(《碧落子斫琴法》) is often considered as the most representative research of both the Tang master Leizhen(雷震) Zhangyue(张越) and Biluoz(i碧落子) namely the author Shiruli(石汝砺) of Song dynasty. By the comparation of those datas of the inheritance and difference between the 2 dynasties,Qin making style is rather easily to be approached. The research work of the author of the thesis is divided into 3 steps. First step is to punctuate the original manuscript, then giving proofreading, adding commentary are accessibly followed. Secondly, there is a comparative study between 2 Song documents namely the Qin making documents included in the"Qin Yuan Yao Lu"and the Qin making documents included in the"Qin Shu Da Quan"(《琴书大全》) in terms of'Yang Zu Yun Qin Zhi(杨祖云琴制)', which lead to a discussion of whether the Zhou Tian Zhi Shu (周天之数,the 365 days of a year ) equivalent to the valid length of string or the total length of Qin body from head to the tail, and so on. At the same time, the correctness of mathematical datas are also explored. On the other hand, from a point of view of organological history and instrumental making in accordance with the change of Rule dimension, some of the issues of Qin making length standards are also analyzed with logical reasoning. And the characteristic of Tang Yuan Song Bian (唐圆宋扁,curving style in Tang dynasty & flat style of Song dynasty), and its acoustic infection are also further studied.
