Psychology of Music, a emerging and edge subject, which combines with the usage of vocal art and psychology. Providing theoretical basis for music workers is the main job of Psychology of music. With the increasingly development of vocal performance and better understanding Psychology of music, people realize that it is very important for vocal performance. With the purpose of extending its application, they are trying to do further research on this issue.Imagination is a special psycho-ability; it creates images of object which are not intuitive. Imagination is a kind of ability which Artist structures images, it meaningful to Artist's talent. Imagination pilots the creation; there would be no artistic creation without imagination.Imagination is to knowing,seizing and expressing the world through structure of images. It reveals the essential of object and sublime emotions to nous, it either free or in compliance with regularity. Giving a full play of imagination during the singing would help singer with better understanding of theory of the scientific vocal music. It also would help singer with gaining skill of vocal music and better understanding of opus so that singer would optimize his level and status of singing. The article will state the importance of imagination in vocal music through the points of view of singing skills,understanding of songs and singing mentality.
