The tourism development is a kind of social, technological and economical comprehensive activity . In recent years it has been given great enthusiasm with our country. However, many problems which caused great lose appeared in the course of tourism development. In consideration of this this paper holds that it is necessary to process the feasibility study of tourism development, constructs the system of theories and methods of the feasibility study of tourism development, and carry an empirical research. In the first three chapters, based on the definition of the tourism development, the author analyses all kinds of mistakes and explains the importance of the feasibility study. un connection of the absorption advanced ideas and methods of the same research in and out our country with the present situation of tourism development of China. This paper has set up the theoretical foundation of feasibility study of tourism development, probed into the vital contents and means of the important study, and generalized the technological line of feasibility study. What抯 more, the feasible patterns and requirements toward the report of feasibility study is also put forward, which is achievement of this study. Regard the Gesang Florie Holoday Resort in chapter 4 as a typical case, the author of this paper has attempts to reach a connection of the theories and practice. And based on the study of development condition, tourism market, scales and contents, resort location, investment degree, and benefit evaluation of this case, the paper concluded that it is both necessary and feasible to carry out this case. With the result of unity of the theories and practices in the form the report of feasibility study.
