The conception oftourism planning in china undergoes four-stage evolution: the resource-oriented tourism planning(1980s), the market oriented tourism planning (the pre-stage of 1990s), the image-orientedtourism planning (the middle of 1990s) and the ecology-oriented tourism planning (the post-Stageof 1990s). Tourism planning forms into three main schools in china: the economy school, thegeography school and the landscape and urban planning school. On the basis of about-allreviewing of tourism planning, the author puts forth the three-hierarchy analytical model (themacro-analysis model, the medium-analysis model and the micro-analysis model), analyzes thecontents of tourism planning and draws up the standardized contents of tourism planning. On the foundation of theoretical discussion, a typical example-Nanzheng Tourism planning-is picked up as the specific application of theory.
