The Construction Of Environmental Morality In Market Economy In China

Environmental problems which have a long history have been paid much attention to from the 1950抯. People are exploiting and utilizing natural resource as well as causing environmental crisis, which can be relieved by environmental ethics and morality. Therefore, people begin concerning the relation between man and nature from the angle of morality. The dissertation discusses manifestation of the environmental ethics and morality at first from two aspects: exists in the relation between man and nature, the relation between man and man. Then, this dissertation analyses the following five causes in turn: 1.Lure by profits; 2.Tragedv of communal; 3. Disordered market and governments administration; 4.Cognitive ability limitations; 5 Hampering traditional concepts. From what mentioned above, a conclusion can be drawn that it is urgent and necessary to enhance the construction of environmental ethics and morality. On the basis of this, five countermeasures are put forward: 1 To strengthen environmental ethics and morality consciousness and cultivate rational ecology person. 2.To establish environmental ethics and morality regulations. 3.To establish perfect environmental laws and enhance strict environmental administration. 4.To internalize environmental costs. 5.To industrialize environmental protection. If everyone participates in environmental protection and takes action with enthusiasm, and educational institutions, governments, enterprises and sociality co-work to take action, environmental ethics and morality construction will be successful and sustainable in China.
