From the socialism transformation to the late 1970s, the Chinese economy system wasplanned system. The planned system had made a great influence on the Chinese moderniza-tion. This thesis discusses mainly three aspects of influences that the planned system made onthe Chinese economic modernization, social modernization and political modernization. The core of the Chinese modernization is industrialization. When the New China was in-dependent, its basis of industry was very weak. But after the socialism translation, in only 20years or so, the Chinese industrialization had made a great progress, and then consolidatedher status in the world. This was the function of the planned system. The main segments thatthe planned system accelerated the industrializalion course were policy of monopolizing thepurchase and stating monopoly marketing, twisting price mechanism and wicrososmic man-aged mechanism. They all together guaranteed the countri'es ability of mobilizing and makingup resources, and the funds' graduated rated had continuously kept a high level. These werethe situation of a developing industry to develop itself in a very poor condition. But comparing the new democratic doctrine period and the period of implementing re-forms and open-door policies, the economic amount and the anual equal growing indexnumber were very low relatively. The main causes of the contrast were that the informationmechanism and impetus mechanism existed serious malpractices: the central authority depart-ment of making policies are very difficult in gaining the right information that it need, andeven it can gain that, there will exist a large erro in implementing it because of the change oftime. The enterprises had no rights of making policies and running, had no its independenteconomic interest, and they were short of vitality and vigour. The existence of equal tarian-ism's distributing principle and "food prepared in a large canteen cauldron" made the labour-ers be short of enthusiasm in working. In addition, the planned System doesn't fit therequirement of sociallzed production, and the people resources, material resources and finan-cial resources cannot be used properly.Society modernization's scope is very large. Society flowing, urbanization, family institu-tion,universal doctrine are all in the scope which it should be researched. In these the societyflowing is an important link. The other sides of the aseiety flowing mostly have something todo with it dimeily or indirecily. In the pH system, rnOnopozing the Parehase and stat-ing monOPOly for edeting system\ hOuSehold register system\ the PeOPle cornrnun systemand cities gUarantee system in obtalning emPlDymnt wwhed together, so tha there emergedtwO unit smictare betwen city and viIiage. Pallicularly, the ~hon way in the area ruIal was backwall, the poP-ulation went up, the eduahon level was Iow, and the POPulallon qUahty was difficult in goinguP. Obviously, the oppochty of gOng tO W and getting a job was no equal, the wh-versal doctrine lacked very much, and the ithedual ffeedOm was only hatal wish. The Inain contents Of POlitical develDPment in modem times are democratic mthewhza-tion and legalist school mthewhZaion.
