Study On Theoty And Practice Of Regional Tourism Economic Development——In The Case Of Longnan Region

Region is the space that economic activities relying on with the rising of tourism in the world, regional tourism economy which has great vitality is becoming more and more important in the development of regional economy. The development of regional economy relies on the whole development of industries in national economy. As a component of national economy, tourism economy plays a huge role in driving the development of interrelated industries and improving the industrial structure. The theory study about regional tourism economy, an important part of regional economy, is connected closely with the development of tourism economy. Every country and region has its own features of the theory study about its tourism economic development as a result of the unbalance of their regional economic level. Therefore, the main direction of the study on tourism economy in poverty-stricken regions focus on searching for a suitable way to develop regional tourism economy according to their regional conditions. Tourism economy is newly rising approach. It is necessary and helpful to study the theory of its development deeply. Thus we can learn form the success and failure of its development and gain more experiences. This thesis included two parts. The first part (chapter 1) focus on the statement and research on theory. The second part (chapter 2,3,4) is case study. In part one, based on the fundamental theories of regional science, economic geography and tourism economy, the conception, connotation and the theory basis and methods, as well as the study achievements, are discussed fully. Furthermore, on the ground of the advanced thoughts and methods at home and abroad, the present new characters of tourism development are concluded according to the present situation of tourism economic development in China. In part two, based on the above mentioned theories, case of Longnan is example, in order to combine theory with practice. Besides, the developing condition, present situation, opportunities and challenges of tourism economy in Longnan region are analyzed systematically. The future strategic targets, moves, patterns, as well as the practical ways and counter-measures are stated according to the background of its regional economy. Additionally, this thesis tries to combine the thought of regional economic development with practical contents of tourism economic development, and the developing planning of tourism economy with the study of about the development of regional tourism economy.
