Researchers On Strategies Of Foreingern Direct Investment Abroad Of Chinese Enterprise

Global economic integration is now accelerating rapidly, and regional economic integration and group economic integration is strengthening, too. It is prominent that the role of world trade and international investment on the growth of economy, and is increasing that the importance of pushing national economic growth by foreign investment and foreign direct investment It is the great tendency for China to join WTO with the obvious nature of openness of macro-economy. At present China's macro-economy is leaping as a whole from the period of shortage in economy to the one of relative superabundant economy, what's more, large amount of foreign capital is rushing into China and foreign enterprises have taken up or begin to occupy China's markets of some industries. On the contrary, unsatisfactory is the international operation of China's corporations, whose position of foreign direct investment doesn't match the growth of highly speeding economy and her state that she ought to win in global economy. The purpose of the paper attempts to study the strategies of China's international investment abroad under the background of national and international economy. The paper is divided into three sections.The first section is Chapter one, introducing the importance of selecting the subject and identifying of concerned concepts, mainly analyzing the development of internal and external theories about FDI in order to build the theoretical basis for the paper.The second section including Chapter two and three draws a conclusion about the process and present state of international direct investment's development, with the stress of analyzing the developing tendency of global FDI and the problems of China's international direct investment abroad.Section three is the core of the paper with Chapter four, five, six and seven. Chapter four is about the importance, the necessity and the availability of international direct investment abroad, and about the theoretical basis, general principles and grounds of making strategy for China's international investment. The paper shows that the strategy of China's international direct investment abroad is to consider internal and external economic situation, to base on regional comparative advantages, to adopt plural subjects, to select competent industries, to take flexible investment measures, to promote at all levels international business with different stresses in different periods. Furthermore, the paper briefly analyses strategic aim, strategic subject, strategic stresses, strategic steps and strategic measures. Chapter five covers the present situation of location, the selection theories of location and factors of influence ofChina's international direct investment abroad. The paper suggests that the basic idea of regional selection of China's international investment and operation is to make China's investment abroad stream into the international market from all directions. While clearly identifying the main direction of investment and differently dealing with strategic periods and strategic statue in different areas, China's direct investment abroad aiming at regions turns gradually to the globe and pluralizes investment markets. Some countries and regions ought to be selected first with economic technological advantages, complementary elements of production, good environments of investment, convenient finance and similar background of culture and society. In order to realize all levels of international investment with multiply, China's corporations have to accumulate experiences, to know the circumstances, to enlarge their influences, to reform their internal structures and investigate international markets.
