This thesis focuses on analyzing and elaborating systematically and dynamically on the issue of Vessel Investment Decision-Making on the view of shipping enterprises. It is known to all that vessel investment decision-making is essential to the development and operation of shipping enterprises. Here the operations research, economics and related knowledge are used to analyze this issue. The author firstly elaborates such issues as: finance decision-making, investment environment analysis, decision making evaluation index, and investment risk analysis, and then a dynamic multi objective programming model is set up. There are three objectives in the model, which are NPV, value and opportunity loss. Here different investment cases are analyzed and optimized according to different objectives both quantitatively and qualitatively. At last with the use of computer, the model is used in a practical example to fulfill its practical value.
