In the first chapter,the article firstly elaborates the characteristics of international car-manufacturing industry and our country's car-manufacturing industry. By contrst,the article analyses the advantages and disadvantages of both. Then,the conclusion is made:in the current situation,our country's car-manufacturing industry has obvious disadvantages in the competition.In the second chapter,the article introduces the rules of WTO from the following aspects:tariff,non-tariff protection measurements,foreign investment projects management and service trade. On this foundation,the article analyses the chances and challenges brought by entering WTO. The conclusions is that entering WTO will bring two possible results to our country's car-manufacturing industry:the one is that our country's industry will be affected greatly and become the production and assembly sites of international corporations;the other is that only one or several supermacro-corporations that can match with the international corporations will be left. Comparatively speaking,the possibility of the former is much greater. But we can not give up the latter.In the third chapter,the article mainly forecasts the possible strategies of the main car-manufacturing enterprises. The following conclusions are made:After entering WTO,the main car-manufacturing enterprises will not give up the exportation strategy. But in the long run,they will not give up their investment in China.Based on the analysis of above issues,the article points out the development road of paying more attentions to supermacro-corporations while considering joint- ventures at the same time in the fourth chapter.In this chapter,the article first analyses the following key heated issues that should be solved before making the development road :the standing of car-manufacturing industry in the national economy;the option between whole car-manufacturing industry and parts-manufacturing industry;the option of our car-manufacturing industry attending the international labor-division;the limitation of stock proportion in the joint- ventures or in the cooperative enterprises. So,the outline of the development road of our country's car-manufacturing industry after entering WTO is made,that is,government should protect the car-manufacturing industry macroscopicly;the controling of stock should not be 100sen in the joint- ventures;the whole car production should be paid more attentions;our car-manufacturing industry should attend theinternational competition;the car-manufacturing industry should play the most important role in the national economy sufficiently. Then,the article draws a conclusion that we must have the large enterprises that can match with international enterprises in order to preserve and develop our country's car-manufacturing industry.There are following issues concerned on supermacro-corporations:training means;capital structure;market orientation;mainstream car design;the relation with the car joint- ventures.On the issue of paying additional considerations to joint-ventures,the article does not discuss much because it is not the main problem. The article only analyses the reason why joint-ventures should be considered simultaneously and raises the personal point of developing joint-ventures,that is ,on the problem of handling the relationship of supermacro-corporations and joint-ventures,we should consider both at the same time.Supermacro-corporations should be given more considerations and joint-ventures should be given less restrictions .The government can allow joint-ventucrs develop freely and make them the competition opponents of Supermacro-corporations.In the last chapter,that is,the fifth chapter,the article discusses the striding development road of paying more attentions to large enterprises and additional considerations to joint-ventures from the three following aspects:government,the whole and car parts-producing enterprises and mating systems.
