A Preliminary Study On The Reform Of Social Security System In China's Rural Area

In the modernization progress,countries and peasants are often put to a marginal position of being dominated as the traditional factor. Social Security System(SSS) in rural area is always at the edge of the whole system,.and peasants are kept away from the SSS meshwork. The general trend of the reform of SSS in China is to follow the traditional dualistic SSS. Both the practice and the theory of reformation are divided to two circle:city and countryside,which has resulted in serious lag of SSS in China's rural area and has drought a lot of problems of the economic development in countryside and even the whole nation. Many evidences indicate that we should build an institutional social security in rural area as soon as possible. This thesis first makes a brief introduction of modern SSS,which acts as the purpose model of our reform and whose common character and principles may guide our reform. Then the thesis focuses on the facts of the SSS of China's countryside. Through reviewing the reformation history from year of 1949 and analyzing the present situation,we may have some cognition on the SSS in rural area. Based on the above work,it makes a detailed analysis on the necessary condition and sanction of the reform.
