The Development Study On Contemporary L&R Industry In China

The Leisure and Recreation (L&R) Industry is the product of modern society. In the middle of the 19th century,L&R began its development in Europe and America. In the 20th century,the development of productive forces gave impetus to L&R,and the trades related to it came into being. During the 1970s and 1980s,L&R in the developed countries experienced a period of top-speed development. In our country,the national conditions are different,and compared with the western countries,economic standards and social civilization are lower,which results in its late development. Nevertheless,it has a prosperous future in our country.This paper takes the status quo of L&R as its subject,and at the same time,according to characteristics of L&R itself,reveals the economic operrating law of L&R under the guidance of the administration. Furthermore,this paper forecasts theoretically the developing trend of modern L&R,based on the market investigation. In the end,the paper proposes some suggestions and references on problems related to the industrialization of L&R.Basically speaking,the development of L&R concerns two main aspects. One is economics and the other,culture,both of which are indispensable. Therefore,the great length of the paper will deal with the influences of economic income and cultural background on the consuming behavior of L&R,which is consistent with the aim that material civilization should progress at the same speed with spiritual civilization put forward by the Chinese government. What's more,the mutual function of economics and culture is the original motive forces on the long-term development of L&R,which is also the unique feature of L&R other than other industries.The paper consists of five chapters.1, the first chaptera brief introduction of the concept,function and its characteristics of L&R in the modern society.2, the second chaptera proposal of the concept of L&R after tracing back L&R in modern history in China.3, the third chapterelaborating the relationship between the development of L&R of social economics.4, the fourth chapterpredictions of the development trends of L&R in modern China.5, the fifth chapterpondering on the industrialization of L&R.
