Exploration Of The Development Direction Of The E-Government In China

The basic status of the information in the government management has been fully embodied in the era of knowledge economy. The government begins to reform the fields of office working,management,etc. Lots of issues of the validity of the traditional managing model and bureaucratism have gradually appeared in. the post-industrialization society,which takes information as its carrier. So,accelerating the government's utilizing internet,enhancing the.government's ability of managing society and serving the economy development by taking advantage of information,and gradually establishing the pattern of utilizing knowledge and information are not only the important preconditions of the sustained development in the 21st century and enhancing the competition,but also the important ways of catching up with the developed countries.This paper,as an exploring assumption,is not only based on the rational analysis,but also has actual significances. It is not only a macroscopical analysis,but also a microcosmic operation. It adopt the technique of "opening development transition and conclusion" used in the ancient Chinese art of translation and demonstrates the validity and feasibility of the new pattern of public management in China-electric government,through a comparative research on the development of electric government in China and abroad. This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter I ,it points out the background of the emergence of the e-govemment. During the course of information revolution,the traditional government faces achallenge of information government.Chapter II,basing on the former chapter,this part elaborates the connotation and characters of the e-government in order to demonstrate the validity of the e-govemment.Chapter III,lists out the enlightenments,which we should learn from the e-govemment experiences in foreign countries.ChapterIV,it puts forward the feasible institutional construction and conducts some researches on typical cases by synthesizing the previous content and carefully analyzing the process of the development of the e-govemment in China.
