| Gender is an analytic category and study field which has formed in the United Nations and other places since 1980s. It has been used to analyse the UN and every country policy different effect on males and females,and to search the way to slove tin- problem. 'Ihrough using Gender Theory ,my articles analyse Chinese women's situation ,realizing social development cann't simply equal to or substitute for women's development and increasing only in economics can not naturally bring to women's headway .We must have a view on Gender Theory ,reviewing Chinese women's unique action in development and women own development.Firstly,my articles briefly introduce Gender Theory .Gender was developed from 20 centuries 60s in western world ,which was the key system of modern feminism .As the biology constitution ,sex means men and women biological attribute forming when they were born .But gender is the different comprehension between sexes which has formed by social culture and the group properties and conduct way attributed to females or males forming in social culture .Feminism stressed gender is a constructed cause ,formed in posterity not in prior .This provides the real probability in searching for the roots of .sexual inequality .From 1990 ,because feminists pose critics and calling in question from all kinds of position and situation ,which made it become more li uitable ,more complicate and more uncertaintly .In spite having different definition and usage ,they stress gender constructed by society ,which is the root of producing sex difference and inequality . When inspecting women's problem ,we shouldn't treat it alone ,but put it in specific social roles and power construction . It didn't treat male as antitlesis ,but aim to sex culture ,sex institution and chase sex harmony .Next ,with the aid of gender analysis,my article liberates from simply natural attribution viewing Chinese women's situation on the background of society and culture . In the traditional China society,because feudal patriarchism dclinitlv prescribe the traditional social work-allocation model of "men managing outside affairs and women doing house work."Women were on the oppressed situation . Chinese women's movement led by modern capitalist put forward Chinese women's conscienceness in some degree . lint finally only conducted by Marxist women's theory ,insisting on being led by Communist Party of China ,only do these can make Chinese women jointing their own fortune with the whole national emancipation and class liberation . After the New China setting up ,announcing the old system having been destrncted ,people being liberated and also the new emancipation of Chinese women . The view of Marxist feminist giving scientic analytic and summary to thechange of women's social situaion ,women's social action and the way of their striving for liberation ,continuously developing with the development of times and science . Modern Chinese basic condition decided Modern Chinese women's role and liberation movement had obviously difference from western women's .Chinese feminist scholars began to contact gender conception from 1992-1993 . Although Chinese scholars have their own cultural background and premise to understand gender theory . As a core category of female study,it provides us an analytic N capon,putting gender study forward ,initiating the new study Held and accepted by more and more people . The meeting of World Women in China in 1995,aecelerated this process eonciding with the world. Our government admitted to the active program ,making "gender consciousness" accepted by main stream ideology . As a new view ,no one negate that gender theory have revolutionary meaning to Chinese women's study and women's movement .
