Evaluation Of Modernization Of Agriculture

Agriculture, farmer and countryside are important problems for Chinese construction of modernization. In fact, there is no modernization of the whole country, if there is no modernization of agriculture. Quantitative research on modernization of agriculture is of great importance for Chinese construction of agriculture, no matter in theory or in practice.This paper starts with the concept of agriculture modernization, analyses the problem during the process of agriculture modernization thoroughly and systematically, using the means combining qualitative with quantitative way.At first, this paper sorts out the research accomplishment in the field at home and outside, and makes summary and systematic analysis. Based on it, the paper put forward the systematic concept from four sides: agriculture, farmer, countryside and environment, and gives a series of standards on agriculture modernization. Furthermore, the paper designs a set of system to evaluate the level of agriculture modernization in the way of AHP.Secondly, the paper makes an analysis on Chinese development of agriculture and brings forward some suggestion on how to make county be town, which is the key problem in the process of agriculture modernization.Finally, the paper makes a demonstrative analysis on Chengdu agriculture modernization and compares with other city in China. Besides, the paper makes a forecast on the level of Chengdu agriculture modernization during the period of the "Tenth Five Year" and in 2010, which is for Chengdu government to make the plan.
