Study On Social And Economic Impact Assessment For Expressway

With the rapid development of expressway in China,expressway has played an important role in improving the level of social economy. Expressway is characterized by its big scale,high technique standard,and great investment,so its social and economic impact is different from the highway in impact mode,relativity,and extend.Social and economic assessment is an indispensable part in post assessment for expressway,and it also is an important step of assessing comprehensively construction project. The social and economic assessment for the expressway that has already been open to traffic can more comprehensively and more exactly measure the "external impact" of the project. The social and economic assessment is to measure the project impact from social point of view,so it can harmonize the project and society,and provide the scientific foundation for the sustainable development of project and the improvement of level of scientific decision-making.Firstly the post assessment and social and economic impact assessment for highway construction project were introduced in this thesis. Then combined with the characteristics of expressway,the social and economic impact of expressway was analyzed. And the present situation and problems of social and economic impact assessment were introduced. The theories and methods of social and economic impact assessment for expressway were discussed emphatically in this thesis. Finally the social and economic impact assessment for Cheng-Leexpressway was made. The thesis is of constructive significance for the development of social and economic assessment for Chinese expressway.
