Project Of Social And Economic Benefits And Impact Evaluation

The post-evaluation of the social economical benefit and influence for highway projects is a systematic and comprehensive evaluation made after the completion and a period of operation of the project, focusing on its influence upon the macroeconomic development and social advancement within its influential zone.The thesis, in accordance with the concrete characteristics of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu(BTT) Expressway project and its influential zone, using the theory and systematic analytic approach of regional transportation economics, makes a quantitative and qualitative evaluation for the project through a contrasting analysis of the influential zone 5 years before and 5 or more years after the construction of the project. After introducing the research background, it presents the theoretical approach and its practice of the post-evaluation of the social economical benefit and influence for highway projects, based on which it does a post-evaluation for the BTT Expressway project. The comprehensive conclusion is that the project is "Excellent" with a subordination degree of 0.82.
