General Experiences Of Ruling Party In The New Period: Making And Emplement Of Basic Line

Based on Dengxiaoping's Selected Works and the CPC's important documents, this essay discusses the Party's basic line for the primary stage of socialism .It consists of the following three parts.Part I explains the formation of the basic line during the 3rd plenary session of the llth central Committee, the 12th and the 13th National Congress of the CPC. It also dissertates the scientific basic line: The Party's basic line is shaped and developed on a prerequisite of summarizing the experience of socialist revolution and construction under the leadership of the CPC, seizing the principal contradiction of the present stage of China and the basic condition of the country in the primary stage of socialism.Part II pays attention to the contents of the line? one center and two basic points " as well as the relationship among them .focusing on the new contents and spirits of the times embodied to the four cardinal principles by the reform and opening to the outside world, that is, adhering to the socialist road with Chinese characteristics; adhering to the proletarian dictatorship, combining socialist democracy with legality and governing the country .combining socialist democracy with legality and governing the country according to law; adhering to and improving the Party's leadership; adhering to Marxism, MaoZedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, arming the whole Party with Deng Xiaoping Theory.Part III states the necessity of firmly adhering to the Party's basic line in the course of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
