Research On The Non-performing Assets Of The State-owned Commercial Bank

The whole world widely began to pay a good deal of attention to the problem of non-performing assets along with the eruption of Asian financial crisis in 1997 and adopt effective measures to solve and control,and China is no exception. Non-performing assets in the four state-owned commercial banks of China has become a serious problem which is making a strong impact on the normal development of the state-owned commercial banks and the national economy. So it is an important task to solve and control the non-performing assets of state-owned commercial bank to eliminate financial risk in the course of developing economy. Obviously this paper study the problem has strategic significance.This paper make a systematic analysis on the cause of formation of non-performing assets according to economic system,property right system,industrial policy,legislation environment,government action,bank reform and put forward the measure to solve is economic system reform and financial reform further. Finally,I analyze the same problem combining the situation of my work place-the Ping' an branch of The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
