Subsidiary's main task is undertaking northeast refined products shipping; the scope of running is Chinese coastal harbors; the ships are refined products tankers of 5000-60000 tons which are all rented from other Shipping Companies. Now the company wants to rent a refined product tanker of 60000-ton, so this article recounts refined products transportation and analyses to the feasibility of rent.Preface introduces: the article's background , significance, work done before , problems which should be solved in the article. In the first chapter, the author analyses to supply & demand of Chinese refined products shipping market. In the second, the author points to the feasibility of controlling proper ship capacities according to analysis to present condition of Dalian Shipping Subsidiary of PetroChina,price tendency of tanker shipping market and present condition of tanker market. In the third, the author analyses in detail to which way to choose among single-venture running, joint stock running, rent running. In the fourth, the author proves the economic feasibility of renting a refined product tanker of 60000-ton.
