Study On Business Combination For China Construction Industry

The paper is one part of the project "Study on Growth and Development Path and Economic Increasing Ways of China Construction Industry" sponsored by National Natural Science Fund.In this paper, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis combination method is adopted to study problems such as low profit, low efficient of Chinese construction industry, large-scale loss and competition's capability deficiency of construction enterprise and excessive competition in construction market, and to probe reasons led to these problems. Western economics, industrial organization theory, resources depending theory and transaction cost economics theory are used to explain and demonstrate that these problems could be tackled and new economic increasing point and increasing capability formed only when business new combination and engineering service are carried out. Through market analysis, function analysis, capacity analysis and entrancethreshold analysis, feasibility of engineering service and business new combination is proved. Using qualitative and deductive method, interrelationship among various businesses of construction enterprise and combination principle are analyzed, several models of engineering service and businesses new combination are put forward, in which, PMC ( Project Management Contract) model and relating strategic measures are analyzed with emphasis.The studying achievement has important application value and realistic meaning togrowth and development of domestic construction industry and to meet the challenge of entry into WTO.
