So it is necessary to make scientific, objective appraisal again for tourism resources and development conditions in Gansu province.The thesis analyses the latest theory progress of the appraisal of tourism resources in home and abroad at first. It divides the appraisal method of tourism resources into the qualitative appraisal and the quantitative appraisal. Meanwhile, it objectively compares the differences of the theories of tourism resources appraisal between home and abroad.
