As we are accelerating the open to the foreign Insurance companies to operate in China at present, we can expect heavy competition in the market. We, as a state-owned life insurance company in Chongqing, should be ready to face this competition from giant foreign companies and be ready to challenge them in the market by promoting our products more aggressively. Therefore, we should reconsider some of our product range widely,redetermine developing strategy,especially adjusting a series strategic step,such as developing thought, target position, core competence, enlignting comprehensive strength, so as to make it developing more rapidly and healthy.In introduction section, the sense of studying strategy of DH life insurance company(CLIC) was elaborated,by analysising the unenough for newly materials ,the strategy studying thought was brought out.Through introducting new situation about international life insurance industry and analysising the present situation about domestic and chongqing market, the urgence of DH CLIC'strategy study was pointed out. On line with the theory on strategic management,this paper elaborate the strategy design, implement and control widely.17 key factors was found out by analysising external environment of DH CLIC,which show varies opportunities and threats influencing life insurance indulstry and DH CLIC. Thus, external evaluate matrix and competition were builded.20 key factors was found out through analysising internal environment factors, which show varies strengths and weaknesses of DH CLIC,so the interal evaluate matrix was builded. According to the known 37 key factors covered internal and external environment, by adopting TOWS matrix matching,17 develop strategies suit to be chosen turn up; Making use of strategic matrix to analysis individual and group life insurance business, then, differentiating marketing strategy was defined the necessary choice for DH CLIC, furthermore, chaseing for differentiating services was elaborated as core strategy for DH CLIC . By analysis the value chain of that process for planting product in the life insurance,it is important to look at the implementation stage the following(invoving several innovations as follows): ·New Management systematic in order to tap the best Human resources·Good and innovative product range to compete with others·Develop new sales channel strategies·New information system and technological supports·Also specialized after-sales service. Therefore the KEY To success is, Chongquing Life Insurance company has to develop a New strategy to develop a system that avoid and control the risk effectively, which was accepted as both the ensurence for strategy implement and the core consists of this thesis.
