Confronting the ardent competition in the market, production price-oriented has been an important and basic management strategy, especially in market strategy. Chang'an (group) Ltd Corporation, as the head in the mini-vehicle industry, have gained great achievements. But facing the price competition it isn't enough to study in the scientific and systemic price strategy. Consequently in this paper we employ the principles of the economic management and market, analyze the market strategy of the chang'an star, one type of chang'an vehicle family. It analyzed not only the current price status of chang'an star in competition but also the primary factors that affect the price of chang'an star. It initially constructs the price-oriented process model of chang'an star. Combined with the marketing practice and the chang'an star's lifecycle we designed its primary price strategy, That can help to increase the domestic market possession rate.In the paper the price strategy which is based on the chang'an star is practical, instructional and operational.
