| Innovation of technology needs proper institutional arrangement, so is biotechnology.After analyzing and appraising the policy choice of modern agricultural biotechnology in the selected countries, the paper points out the main causes of adopting different policy choice in above countries. Then the penman study on several policy choices of modern agricultural biotechnology including public research investment policy, biosafety policy, food safety policy and trade policy in China. Some recommendations are presented at the end of the thesis based on Chinese and other countries' experience.
