On Reinforcing The Party's Class Foundation And Expanding Its Mass Base

At celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Jiang Ze-min said that the Party must spare no efforts to reinforce the Party's class foundation and expand its mass base continually, and to unceasingly increase the influence and rallying force of the Party in society at large, according to Marxist theory of building the Party and the facts of our country's economic development and social progress. Under the new situations, this scientific conclusion will be of momentous guiding significance in how to strengthen Party building, to consolidate the Party's position of governance , to accomplish the Party's historical mission. This thesis reviews the important expositions of the writers of Marxist classics on how to reinforce the Party's class foundation and expand its mass base, researches into the process of the Party exploring this problem last century ,analyses its current situation. On the basis of the above ,this thesis advances some thoughts on how to further reinforce the Party's class foundation and expand its mass base.
