An Analysis On The Evolution Process Of The Communist Party Of China’s People And Mass Viewpoint

"People" and "Mass" are the core concepts of the Communist Party of China (the Party) discourse system. The party’s view on people and the Party’s mass viewpoint are associated but also differentiated. Hence, the establishment of compounding both into the Party’s people and mass viewpoints as an overall concept can be justified.The theoretical foundation of the party’s people and mass viewpoint is the Marxism-Leninism theory of people. The process of sinicization of Marxism-Leninism contains the sinicization of Marxism-Leninism people and mass viewpoint. The theoretical achievement of sinicization of Marxism-Leninism also contains the theoretical achievement of Marxism-Leninism people and mass viewpoints.The party’s people and mass viewpoint has gone through the periods of gestation, establishment, maturity and abundant development innovation; the representative figures and ideas of the gestation period are Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao and their people and mass viewpoint; the Party’s literature from the first CPC National congress to the fourth is a collective manifestation of the establishing period’s results; the representative figures and ideas of the maturity period are the people and mass viewpoint of the first generation central leadership members led by comrade Mao Zedong; the representative figures and ideas of the development innovative period are Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, Xi Jinping and their people and mass viewpoint.Based on the vertical perspective and intensive research of the literatures, this dissertation investigated, evaluated, induced, and excavated the connotation and spiritual essence of the thoughts given on people and mass viewpoints by leaders such as Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, etc. Specifically, this thesis elaborates the ideas into nine areas based on General Secretary Xi’s series of expositions on the theoretical views of people and mass, which could be a potential foundation for future research on Xi Jinping’s people and mass viewpoint. Utilizing the holistic perspectives, this dissertation integrates the Party’s leaders’people mass viewpoint, constructs the theoretical frameworks of the Party’s people and mass viewpoint, and concludes the framework’s main content of thoughts. The integration of this framework engages in an open characteristic, which allows it to accommodate new thoughts and views obtained by the people’s great continuous practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics led by the Party.
