Since 1992's "World Commission on Environment and Development", as a new kind of development strategy, Sustainable development has been concerned about by the whole world. And a wide range of scientific research has been done. With the deepening study, ecological environment question are put on the more and more outstanding position, which is the foundation and the dynamic carrier of sustainable development.But there is still few researches on sustainable development of the ecological environment, especially on its practice application. Whether the ecological environment is development that sustainable development concerns the development of the area is sustainable. For better realization the sustainable development of ecological environment and strong promotion regional sustainable development, it seems particularly important to study about sustainable development of the ecological environment practice. This paper defines the definition and intension of sustainable development of the ecological environment again on the basis of summarizing the research in the past, introduced some effective methods, such as geographical information system,etc. And then on, we analize and practise on the survey and satellite remote sensing image about the ecology of Tianjin New Seaside Region.
