Six-Sigma Management And It's Application

Six Sigma is a quality management methodology with which entrepreneurs were strongly concerned with recently, and has been successfully applied in many corporations such as GE, Motorola since 1980s. Starting from reviewing the history of quality management, this article analyzes the background of Six Sigma management, and systematically clarifies it's principles, contents, implementation and the application of statistical methods. At last, through a practical example of missiles' storage management, according to the DMAIC process in Six Sigma management, we explain how to carry out this statistical management method practically.
