The Six Sigma quality is perfect. The Six Sigma Way is a systemic methodology that helps the enterprise improve quality, add up customer satisfaction and make continuous progress. Quality Information System is one of power tools to utilize quality control, quality management and make decisions for the corporation. It is a very important way for enterprises to use the Six Sigma Way to build Quality Information System. Based on home and abroad research and application into Six Sigma, this article focuses on "Study on Six Sigma Quality Information System for miniature bearing assembling process", discusses integration of Six Sigma Way and QIS. Furthermore, SSQIS prototype system will be developed based on DMAIC model for Six Sigma Way. Lastly, detail practices will be made to test the system.The whole thesis is divided into six chapters:Chapter one illustrates the development of quality management, focusing on the general research situation of Six Sigma Management. Later we introduce our research topic-Study on Six Sigma Quality Information System for miniature bearing assembling process based on the illustration of recent development situation of bearing enterprise in china.In Chapter two, firstly the principal, methodology and tools for Six Sigma Management arediscussed in detail, then focus on discussing DMAIC model for Six Sigma Breakthrough Strategyand making use of SPC in Six Sigma. Based on above idea, we construct the metrics system forthe assembly quality measurement.Requirement analysis and then system modeling will be discussed in Chapter three. Firstly, we focus on the analysis of CTQs. Secondly, the method as long as model that integrate Six Sigma into QIS are issued. Lastly, how to implement DMAIC model to build Six Sigma Management Information System is illustrated in detail, in which functional modeling and information modeling are the topics.According to requirement analysis and system modeling, development for the SSQIS is discussed from such aspects as development environment, database design, running procedure and logic in Chapter four.Chapter five is mainly about practical application and analysis of SSQIS with examples according to DMAIC model.Finally, chapter six makes a conclusion of the whole thesis and puts forward the future research in this field.
