Deposit Insurance System was first established by the US in 1930s , and since then , it has been adopted by so many countries in the world .Up to now , there are 70 countries and territories which have established the system. Deposit Insurance System can protect deposits of people , and then keep a stable banking system . So Deposit Insurance System has become an important part of defending and transferring financial risks for a country .After so many years' reform , our finance industry have made great progress , but the development level is very low , and Chinese banks are facing great financial risks which possibly destroy the stable banking system of China . So, in order to make Chinese finance industry develop more greatly .China must establish Deposit Insurance System with Chinese characteristics.This thesis is composed of four chapters .The first analyzes the overall framework .functions and defects of Deposit Insurance System ;The second analyzes the necessity and feasibility of establishing Chinese Deposit Insurance System ;The third studies the Deposit Insurance Systems of foreign countries , and conclude some useful enlightenments to our country from the study ;The four draws up the general steps of establishing Chinese Deposit Insurance System , and attempts to design Chinese Deposit Insurance pattern . During the analysis , the thesis systematically analyzes the establishment of Chinese Deposit Insurance System, based on the information economics , insurance science , money and banking theory and other financial theory , and using many ways , such as empirical test and standard test .inductive method and deductive method , and so on.
