The Middle East is one of the major hot places in the world, which lies in a very special relations of Geopolitik for a long time. The Iran which lies in the center in the Middle East Areas is a important and powerful country in the Middle East areas and Gulf areas and is important in geographical position. It is called both Europe and Asia bridge and corridor in the sky in the Eastern. Besides, it is also supreme headquarters of Islamic radicalism in the all over world. Therefore its development will exercise an major influence over the Middle East Areas, especially Gulf areas whether hi politics, economy and military affairs or in culture. The Gulf areas is the important component part of historic strategy of the U.S.A and also the important place in pursuit of the world single-pole structure. So study on contemporary relations of the Iranian-US have important theoretical and realistic significance. The thesis includes four parts:In part one, the development of history and current characters of relations between the Iran and the United States are expounded. The thesis set forth the development of the relations of the Iranian-US from four terms .including Shah period, Khomeini period, Rafsanjani period and Khatami period.In part two, the relations of the Iranian-US and its forming mechanism are analyzed, the thesis deep and overall analyzed the relations of the Iranian-US from five respects including military relation and its forming mechanism, foreign relation and its forming mechanism, economic relation and its forming mechanism, political relation and the collision and conflict in the concepts of culture and value.In part three, relations between the Iran and the United States are theoretically analyzed. The thesis thinks that the strong point of the relations of the Iranian-US is the State benefit and make certain analyses from the State political benefit, State safe benefit and State economic benefit, then discuss all kinds of theories in relation with the State benefit, including Global benefit theory, Idealism, Realism, Gepolitik Strategy, conflict theory, deterrent theory and balance theory of power and make us understand the theory basis of relations of the Iranian-US from higher angle.In part four, relations of the Iranian-US is prospected. According to its development, forming mechanism of relations of the Iranian-US and its supporting theory, the thesis point out that conflict factors of relations of the Iranian-US is still more than collaboration factors, and that basic benefit conflict of two sides isnt still solved in a reasonable way because of their deep-rooted contradiction. Therefore, their relations is difficult to lagerly change during the short period.
