A Study on Development Patterns of Bamboo Industry in ChinaChenyong (Major in Economic Management)Directed by Prof. Wang Weiying and Prof. Li ZhiyongThrough more than 50 years of reformation and development, China has been the largest producer, consumer and exporter of bamboo in the world. Bamboo sector, which is harmonious with ecologic, economic and social benefits, is a sunrise industry. It is very important to develop bamboo industry in protecting natural resources and improving ecological environment, helping farmers shake off poverty and march towards prosperity and promoting a sustained development of rural society. With the socialist market system establish and national macro-control policies continuously changing, the bamboo sector is facing problems and serious challenges. So it is necessary to collect the successful patterns during bamboo industrialization and further study certain patterns that we can make use of in the future. This thesis has important significance not only to solve problems what China bamboo is facing now, but also to develop the future bamboo industry. Through the review of the historical developmental process of China bamboo industry after liberation, especially in the last two decades, author presents main factors that affect the implement of bamboo development patterns, and follows relevant theories, referring to industrial characters of bamboo, to study the present patterns of bamboo industrialization and put forward the future pattern, and deeply study the market system according to operation of pattern, construction of the resource base, as well as leading enterprises.Development pattern of bamboo industrialization is a complex system project, which includes many connections, and we will meet with many problems during implementing it. Only adopting effectively measures can ensure smooth implementing of bamboo industrialization patterns. To develop bamboo industry, this thesis brings forward such measures as formulation of bamboo industry policy, innovation of bamboo enterprises and construction of bamboo social service system.
