Under the background of hastened course of economical globalization, the problem of international trade and environment has become more and more severe with the boosting up of environmental protection consciousness and rising up of sustained development strategy. And it was included into the next round of negotiation of WTO as a focal topic for discussion. As a new member of WTO, we must execute the regulation of WTO strictly, so it is a necessary and imperious subject for us to analyze the environment problems in international trade in theory and harmonize international trade and environment in practice.The paper systemically expounded the relationship of trade and environment firstly, and then analyzed the reason why trade and environment conflicted with each other, probed into the effective way to resolve above mentioned problem. On the basis of above research, with the connection of the situation of our country after entering WTO, the paper outspread further analyzing into the practical problems of international trade and environment in our country, and also offered countermeasures and proposals as to harmonizing the relationship of trade and environment in our country in order to realize the sustained development of our foreign trade.Through the research, the question for discussion want to realize aims as follows: enrich our country's cross-subject research of international trade and environment; provide information reference for our government to adjust foreign trade policy so as to accelerate the harmonious development of trade and environment under the new phase; provide theoretical guidance and methodical advice for our enterprises to deal with the problem of trade and environment and enlarge green trade in the future.
