On Jiang Ze Min's Socialist Democracy

The 4th plenary session of the 13th congress of the CCP, esp the 14th congress, with the great banner of Deng Xiao ping' s Theory held up high, the central collective leadership of the 3rd generation with Jiang Ze min as the core, in theory and in practice as well, has explored creatively the construction of socialist democracy and put forward a series of thoughts and theory on how to recognize and how to build up socialist democracy. Such thoughts and theory not only have inherited the past achievements but also combined closely with the actual national conditions under new circumstances, which accordingly have enriched and advanced the Marxist Democracy Theory.1. The Formation and Development of Jiang Ze min' s Socialist Democracy. Based on Marxism, Leninism, Mao Ze dong Thoughts and Deng Xiao ping Theory, Jiang Ze min' s Socialist Democracy concludes the experiences and lessons of democratic construction in our country as well as in other socialist countries, coming into being and developing gradually in the great practising process of solving the unprecedentedly realistic subject, with which the democratic construction of politics has been confronted in the course of globalization. Approximately, the developing trace of Jiang Ze min's Socialist Democratic Thought underwent three stages: from June, 1989 to October, 1992, the rudiment of Jiang Ze min's Socialist Democracy Thought; the formation of that from October, 1992 to September, 1997; From September, 1997 till now, the development of Jiang Ze min' s above-mentioned thoughts. 2. The scientificsystem and the distinguishing features of Jiang Ze min' s Socialist Democracy. Jiang Ze rain's socialist democracy is systematically scientific and of profound contents, which, from theoretical angle, falls into three aspects , that is, the comprehension and conclusion to the importance of socialist democratic construction, the essence of socialist democracy and the concrete way , measures of democratic politics construction as well. Jiang Ze min' s socialist democracy, which is stylishly unique and prominent in features, bears the theoretically characteristics of reality and practice, science and guidance as well as inheritance and creativeness.3. The enrichment and development of Deng Xiao ping* s Socialist Democracy by Jiang Ze min. focusing on the new practice and development, The collective leadership of the 3rd generation of the CCP with Jiang Ze min as the core, has enriched and developed Deng Xiao ping's Socialist Democratic Thoughts on such aspects as to administer the country by means of democracy, the democratic state in the country and thoroughly developing the democracy, etc, in order to satisfy the need of the Socialist Market Economy Institution and construction of socialist modernizations. And, in our country, the construction of the socialist democratic politics has been exalted to a new stage.
