| The Jury system, which symbolizes democracy of judicature and the extent to which it is open, is an important part of judicial system. It plays a high role in judicial system and litigation practice. The Jury system is stemmed from Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome, slave countries then. There are mainly two forms globally, the Jury system in Anglo-American law family and the system by people assessors in Romano-Germanic family. Both aim at offering common people chances to attend the case trials, enlarging the democracy of judicature and supervising the implementation of the law. In the application of Jury system, the most successful is the jury in Anglo-American. This thesis is, by analyzing the value of the Jury System, to provide some reference for our system of people's assessors, which the author gives an analysis at the end of the thesis. On this basis, suggestions are made on the selection and orientation of our country's people's assessors' system. |
