The Theory And Practice On Agricultural Industrialization In Taizhou, Zhejiang

Some considerations about agricultural industrialization and its relevant issues are outlined in this paper, on the basis of reviewing the reports and practices available in Taizhou. It was recognized that agricultural industrialization is an innovation of organized forms in the structure of agricultural industrialization, the extension of agricultural industrialization will stimulate the basic change of operation pattern in agricultural industry, and the adjustment and insurance system, called "the risk being commonly taken and the interest being shared together", set up within the system of agricultural industrialization is a fundamental one in the management of agricultural industry. It is also considered that the progress of agricultural science and technology is the inherent impetus for promotion of agricultural industrialization and the latter is the formal expression of the former. It should be stressed on that agricultural industrialization and town construction is closely related each other, showing the relationship between content in industry and carrier for space, thus both of them should be carried out simultaneously and developed commonly. The capital, acting a key means for making the maximum profit on the market economy, should be used an important approach for enlargement of low-cost agricultural industrialization. Meanwhile, government should do something in adjustment of market economy for further and better development of agricultural industrialization.The principles, which should be observed in the management of agricultural industrialization was proposed in this paper according to the results obtained in the current research. They include : the principle of work division and collaboration, principle of economy, principle of efficiency, principle of rational distribution of productivity, principle of interest balance, and principle of agricultural sustainable development.The viewpoints of some scientists on the evaluation system of agricultural industrialization were introduced and analyzed in the paper, and meanwhile the exact parameters for the evaluation were proposed. According to the basic content and present main organization forms of agricultural industrialization, and considering the convenience for data gathering and comparison, we set up the three levels, i.e. raw material production, processing and selling of agricultural products, and integrated management of products, consisting of 25 parameters, for the evaluation of agricultural industrialization.In the present paper, based on the general analysis of status in agriculturalindustrialization in Taizhou, author suggested that the practices of agricultural industrialization locally has been well developed, which may be proved by the following facts: (1) the leading industry of agriculture has been gradually formed and enlarged, and meanwhile the production of dominant products with the remarkable characteristic of the local zone has become into the larger scale; (2) the scale and number of the leading industries and markets for agricultural products are greatly enlarged, with a significantly increased capacity in demonstrating and stimulating others; (3) the organization of the special industry in rural areas is consistently developing and name brand projects of high-quality agricultural products has showed the effective results; and (4) the governments of all-levels pay more attention to the agricultural industrialization, which provides a nice environment for healthful development of agricultural industrialization.The proposes for promoting 8 major leading industries, including fruits, aquatic products, animals, flowers, melons, tea, food and forestry products are made for development of local agricultural industrialization in the paper, and the main strategies for enhancing agricultural industrialization is also discussed.
