The Research Of Scientism Tendency

This paper explains the meaning of the "science", "scientific" and "scientism". Through the unity of history and logic method, it discusses the emergent basis of scientism tendency in the language context of Sinology-Occident, traces the form development of scientism tendency, analyzes the essence character of scientism tendency and discloses the differences and essences between Sinology-Occident scientism tendency.After analyzing the shortage of scientism tendency, this paper explains the new task with which China are confronted .The task is that carrying forward the scientific spirit, advocating scientific approach, propagating scientific thought, popularizing scientific knowledge, realizing the unification of scientific reason and humanistic reason, and guarding the scientism extension.
